Work. Care. Know where you stand.

A little more pay.
A whole week’s allowance?

Check each pay packet against the £204 weekly earnings limit after deductions. See which weeks could put £86.45 at risk, whether averaging helps, and what to tell DWP.

No account needed. Check without saving; share only when you choose.

1 · About you & caring

This checks earnings. You still need to care for one person for 35 hours a week, be 16 or over, and meet the benefit and education conditions shown in your results.

2 · Your pay

Enter gross pay before deductions. Include any bonus, holiday pay or backpay in gross pay. Expenses must be wholly, exclusively and necessarily for work, such as equipment or travel between workplaces; home-to-work travel does not count.

Paste rows or import a CSV file

Rows are added to the first job. Format: date,period,gross,tax,ni,pension,expenses. Period is weekly, fortnightly, four-weekly or monthly.

Include weeks without work where they form part of your regular cycle. Averaging needs DWP’s agreement.

Use the API

POST /api/check with JSON returns an earnings report without saving. Minimal example:

{"country":"England","jobs":[{"label":"Main job","type":"employed","periods":[{"payDate":"2026-11-06","kind":"weekly","gross":190,"tax":0,"ni":0}]}]}

Optional: cycleWeeks, otherWeeks, hourlyRate and overpayment. Every period supports pension, expenses, care, dueDate, one-off amounts, and estimateTaxNI. Self-employed periods need start/end dates and gross means trading profit before tax and pension. Dates are YYYY-MM-DD; amounts are pounds. Use at most six jobs, 120 periods and 64 KB.

POST /api/share with the same input saves a report for 180 days. Read at /r/:id, add .md or .csv to download, or use /api/r/:id for JSON. /api/samples has complete examples; /api/health reports service health.
